Senator Nikki Torres has called the Tri-Cities home for over 40 years. Her deep roots in our community and her extensive experience in the private sector uniquely qualify her to lead as a common-sense voice for the Mighty 8th.

Business Expertise & Economic Leadership

Before her service in the State Senate, Nikki spent several years in Commercial Lending at Gesa Credit Union, where she led business development and expanded the institution’s commercial footprint across Eastern Washington. By working directly with small business owners, large enterprises, and non-profits, Nikki gained a firsthand understanding of the diverse needs of our local economy.

This professional experience solidified her firm belief that the government should empower, not hinder, the private sector. While working full-time in lending, Nikki earned her MBA, sharpening the fiscal expertise she now uses to fight government overreach and protect the interests of Washington’s job creators.
